Duchy Palace,
Lostwithiel
The Trust is currently engaged in a
project to acquire, conserve and re-use Cornwall's oldest, and perhaps most
important, secular building, the grade 1 listed Duchy Palace in the centre of
the historic stannary town of Lostwithiel.
Please visit the
News page for latest press
releases.
In January 2011 planning and
listed building applications were submitted to the local planning authority. The
applications can be viewed online using the online planning register at
www.cornwall.gov.uk
The Trust's Chairman, Simon
Thorpe, presented an update on the project to Lostwithiel Town Council on 1st
February 2011.
We have commissioned reports into
the history and importance of the Duchy Palace to inform our proposals.
These are available to view and download.
